Bioanalytical Instruments is a sale and service representative for several analytical and scientific instruments manufacturers, for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean area. We offer a variety of technical services to the instruments we represent and sell, such as:  

• Installation
• Operational training
• Technical repair service
• Maintenance
• Calibration
• Installation Qualification/Operation Qualification procedures (IQ/OQ’s)
• Application support

As part of our service policy, we offer to our customers, service contracts (agreements) to ensure the optimal operation condition of their instruments, after the instrument’s one year warranty expiration. These contracts include:

• Unlimited, priority on-site emergency service calls
• Two (2) preventive maintenances and calibrations per year
• Unlimited labor time
• Unlimited travel time
• Unlimited original replacement parts (with the exception of consumables)

All of our test instruments and standards used for calibrations are N.I.S.T. traceable and the documentation is available to our customers upon request. Our Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.’s) documentation for maintenance and calibration is also available.

 

ISO Certification

As a manufacturer representative, our field service personnel is factory trained in the technical repair service, maintenance and calibration, on the instruments we sell, by our represented manufacturers who own ISO 9000 accreditation. These service trainings are performed following  ISO 9000 guidance, and factory certificates are individually issued to each of our trained Field Service Representatives, providing ISO 9000 traceability to all of our technical service jobs.
