COMPANY HISTORY

    Bioanalytical Instruments is a Puerto Rican company, registered under the Department of State of Puerto Rico.  It was founded on December 1, 1989 by its President/General Manager, Robert Gregory.

    Mr. Gregory developed a technical career with Beckman Instruments/Caribbean Office for 13 years prior to founding Bioanalytical.  He started as a Field Service Representative, then was appointed as Field Service Manager and finally promoted to General Manager.

    Bioanalytical has grown to become one of the leading companies in the analytical and scientific sales and service market in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands.  It is known to be “The Specialization Center of analytical and scientific instruments”.

    Markets serviced by Bioanalytical include pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, fine chemicals, food and beverage, cosmetics, electronics, schools of medicine, universities, research centers, utilities, environmental labs and others.

    Within the industry, target areas are the quality control laboratories, technical service laboratories, research labs, environmental labs, microbiology labs and the production area.

    Within the academic and research institutions, the target areas are biology, chemistry, physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, research labs and others.

    Highly skilled and factory trained field service personnel perform the installation, repair service, preventive maintenance and/or calibration of every instrument sold by Bioanalytical.

    Calibration services are backed by the required documentation, which is favorable for our customer’s FDA inspections.  These include:  standard operating procedures, check lists, NIST traceable standards and test equipments, and factory training certificates, among others.

    Other services and documentation such as IQ/OQ, CFR 21 part 11 and software validation are available.
